Responsibilities: Cleans, sweeps and dusts assigned work spaces, rooms, baths, offices, wall tiles, and furniture. Sweeps, damp mops, and buffs all tiled floors and maintains floors as schedule requires. Picks up debris and trash from units and disposes of it as per policies and procedures. Demonstrates initiative and good judgment regarding the maintenance of assigned areas and is committed to keeping areas in clean and neat conditions. Replenishes supplies as necessary and utilizes proper safety precautions/procedures upon handling supplies and using required equipment.
Qualifications: GED/High School diploma is required. Candidate must be able to successfully strip, wax, and buff floors. Previous housekeeping experience in a nursing home or hospital setting is preferred.
