You will probably be looking at independent living (for those looking to simplify their lives), assisted living (for those in need of assistance with personal care and medication management), or skilled nursing care (for those in need of 24-hour care).

Be aware that many communities and facilities have waiting lists and, in a crisis situation, your options are limited. The GreenFields annual HOLIDAY BAZAAR has expanded to more than 60 vendors in two locations on the campus (GreenField Manor and GreenField Health & Rehabilitation Center).  Vendors include:  home parties, crafts, home décor, gifts, jewelry, quilts, pet accessories, holiday treats and MUCH MORE!!

Once again The GreenFields will be offering two 8-week sessions with Bill Adams from Bill Adams Martial Arts.  The first session will run from June 21 – August 23.  The second session will be held August  23 – October 11.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays at 10:00 at GreenField Manor.  Cost is just $40 per session and you can sign up for one session or both.

The donor does not have to pay income tax on the withdrawal, nor does the donor receive a charitable tax deduction.  Furthermore, the donation does not count against the maximum charitable gifts allowed in any year.  The withdrawal to make a charitable gift can be used to satisfy the IRA required minimum distribution required by law.
