The GUILD’s Annual Christmas Celebration Luncheon

The Guild’s Annual Christmas Celebration Luncheon and Fund Raiser is always a FUN Guild Christmas luncheonEVENT!  and everyone is welcome.

You can enjoy an afternoon of shopping at The GreenFields, and get all your holiday shopping taken care of in one visit.

The GreenFields annual HOLIDAY BAZAAR has expanded to more than 60 vendors in two locations on the campus (GreenField Manor and GreenField Health & Rehabilitation Center).  Vendors include:  home parties, crafts, home décor, gifts, jewelry, quilts, pet accessories, holiday treats and MUCH MORE!!

There is also FAMILY FUN for everyone as well as shopping – Santa will be there, kettle korn, hot chocolate and cinder, a caricaturist, face painting, and even horse-drawn wagon rides.  Transportation between buildings is available. Call 684-8400 for more information.

In addition –LANCASTER OPERA HOUSE is holding its 25th Annual Craft Show the same day and time with an additional 30+ vendors at Holy Mother of the Rosary Cathedral / 6298 Broadway, Lancaster.  [Call 683-1776 for details.]

10-Year Anniversary Celebration & Open House

Tai Chi Classes for Seniors

Last summer, GreenFields offered Tai Chi to residents and the public.  Those who attended found they were more flexible and their balance improved.

Once again The GreenFields will be offering two 8-week sessions with Bill Adams from Bill Adams Martial Arts.  The first session will run from June 21 – August 23.  The second session will be held August  23 – October 11.

Classes will be held on Tuesdays at 10:00 at GreenField Manor.  Cost is just $40 per session and you can sign up for one session or both.

Classes sizes are limited and fill up fast, so reserve your spot early by calling Lori Hannon at 684-8400 today or emailing her at TheGreenfields@NiagaraLutheran.org.

FREE Seminar- Identifying People at Risk for Falls

Identifying Older Adults at Risk for FALLS  is the topic of a recently scheduled FREE seminar to be held at GreenField Health & Rehabilitation Center (5949 Broadway, Lancaster NY)  in March.

You will Learn how to predict and prevent disastrous falls for you or a loved one.  This is important because statistics show that one in three older adults will experience a life-changing fall this year.

Enjoy refreshments with us and have your questions answered by professionals.  The date is Wednesday, March 24, 2010, from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m.
